Salary Information Salary starts at $300 per week plus 10% sales commission (commissions can range from $15 - $500 on top of salary). After a six week review with posative feedback there will be a $50/wk raise in pay. The next review is in eight weeks after that and has another possibility of $50/wk raise with positive feedback.

The Spencer Daniels Agency Inc. is a professional national entertainment and production company that specializes in producing any one or multiple services of our client’s events. Recently we’ve opened a new division of our company, in Monticello NY, that specializes in rental items including tents, tables, chairs, inflatable rides, pipe & drape, and much more. We are looking to hire an individual that is a team player who would be in charge of the sales and marketing of the rental services that SDA offers. Our rental division is located in Monticello, in Sullivan County. The position is full time, Monday thru Friday 9am - 6pm. Weekends and holidays are off. There are also some paid holidays and a paid weeks vacation after the completion of the first full year of employment.
We’re looking for a person that can develop and assist in solutions for our customers and their events. We’re looking for an individual with great communication skills who can approach other businesses and organizations to develop partnerships and cooperative advertising strategies. The qualified individual should be able to engage in “active marketing” as well as “passive marketing.”
The sales person would be responsible for turning leads into sales and bookings. SDA also provides leads for the sales person along with creating cold leads.
Specific Job Responsibilities
Assist in developing a marketing strategy to launch our new rental division in Sullivan County specifically for tents, tables, chairs, and inflatable rides.
Attend some networking events and meetings to promote the Spencer Daniels Agency in Sullivan County.
Answer the office phone to field questions, book rentals, and drive sales.
Help SDA social networking sites such as Facebook—updates, events, replying to comments, etc.
Hours are 9am – 6pm Monday through Friday.
About You:
Intelligent, enthusiastic, pro-active, and diligent.
College degree a plus but not mandatory.
Great people and communication skills. Must be able to professionally deal with clients, business owners, community organizers, political leaders, associations, etc.
Detail-oriented with superb organization skills and strong follow-through.
Must be proficient with Microsoft Office (must know Word very well and be able to make basic spreadsheets in Excel).
Must know how to navigate the Internet, use social media sites, and send e-mail with attachments.
